Terms of Use

The terms for keeping your pets’ records with Petlore.

Last updated October 9, 2026

Using Petlore

Petlore is a record of your pets’ lives and health from Daylore Studio. Its App Store licence is governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). The application provider is the provider identified in Petlore’s App Store listing.

The EULA sets out your permission to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, together with the restrictions that apply. This page explains Petlore’s service and its subscription alongside that agreement.

Your account

You need an account to keep records. Give an email address you can reach, keep your sign-in to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for what is recorded under your account.

You can delete your account at any time in the app, under Me → Delete account. The Privacy Policy explains what is removed and when.

Petlore Pro and renewal

Keeping records, photos and videos, setting reminders and showing the vet view are free. Petlore Pro is an optional, auto-renewing subscription that adds the extras listed on the Pro screen in the app. It is offered as a monthly and a yearly plan.

  • The purchase screen shows the price, the currency and the length of each plan before you confirm.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
  • The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before that.
  • Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Petlore. Apple’s cancellation instructions show each step.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies.

Deleting your Petlore account and cancelling your subscription are separate. To stop renewal, cancel the subscription in Apple’s settings as well. If Pro ends, the records you made stay in your account.

Your records and AI results

What you record stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide Petlore to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.

With your agreement, which Petlore asks for in the app and which you can withdraw there, Petlore uses AI to transcribe voice notes, file notes under the right heading, describe photos and suggest a breed. These results can be wrong or incomplete. Check anything that matters before you rely on it, and correct it in the app.

Not veterinary advice

Petlore keeps a record. It does not diagnose, treat or advise. The vet view and its PDF are a summary of what you entered, to help a conversation with your vet, not a medical record issued by one.

Reminders are a convenience. A notification can be late or fail to arrive, for example when notifications are switched off or the phone is offline, so do not rely on Petlore alone for a medication or vaccine that matters. If your pet is unwell, contact a vet.

Acceptable use

Use Petlore lawfully, and only add content you have the right to use. Do not use the service to violate another person’s rights, store unlawful content, interfere with the service, get around its limits or security, or reach an account that is not yours. We may suspend an account that does. The licence restrictions and termination provisions in the EULA also apply.

Availability and liability

We work to keep Petlore available and your records safe, and we may change or withdraw features as the app develops. The EULA addresses service availability, warranty exclusions and limits of liability. Subject to applicable law, the app and its services are provided as is and as available. Nothing on this page removes consumer rights that cannot be excluded by law.

Governing law

See the Standard EULA, section (i), for its governing-law and jurisdiction provisions, including its regional exceptions. This page does not choose an additional jurisdiction or override your mandatory rights under applicable consumer law.
